Cars have played a major part in my family’s history. My grandfather sold and raced cars in Switzerland. In fact, he raced with Vincenzo Lancia. My father, though he wasn’t much of a mechanic, knew everything there was to know about sports cars. My stepfather, having served in the US Airforce overseas became well-acquainted with foreign cars and raced imported cars as a hobby – Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, you name it, he raced it. So, when I say that the auto industry is in my blood, that isn’t an understatement.
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING AN AUTO BROKER IS...
I enjoy helping my clients work through all the nuances that come with purchasing a vehicle. Everyone is different, ergo every situation is different. Not to mention, being able to drive an array of fast cars, trucks and SUVs, is far more enjoyable than helping people buy office products. Wouldn’t you agree?
I EARN A LOT OF REPEAT BUSINESS AND REFERRALS BECAUSE...
I am an Eagle Scout. A little cliché? Maybe. But what I learned stuck with me: be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent; that is the Scout’s motto. I think it helps my clients understand that I am here for them. Car-buying should be simple, transparent and the person you work with should value your time as much as you do. Straight-forward and effective, these traits have helped me retain life-long clients.
