HM Brown and the Keep Driving Foundation are committed to investing in the communities where we do business by setting aside a portion of every vehicle sold to help drive change and build a brighter future for individuals and organizations in need.
We’re giving a huge shout-out to broker, Brian Ege, for organizing a donation effort amongst our Auto Brokers for the Kawasaki Kids Foundation Cornhole Tournament. Together they were able to raise over $3,100!
Giving a well-deserved shout out to our Titling Supervisor, Maureen! She participated in The Wild Animal Sanctuary's annual 5k and was able to donate over $450!
Troy is at it again! This spring, with the help of fellow brokers, Troy Bosco sponsored his annual Dinner and Education Night for Dale House Project in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Dale House helps troubled teenagers get back on track. This was Troy’s 30th year sponsoring the dinner and one thing is certain - he is committed to supporting our youth!
“The Denver Dumb Friends League hosts their annual Furry Scurry to raise funds to help care for the animals that are in their shelters. This has been an event that our broker, Jesse Blum, has not only participated in multiple times but has continued to raise more and more money to donate to the cause. This year, with the help of our H.M. Brown family, Jesse was able to collect $5,000! That will surely help save many animals and find them their loving homes. We are so proud of our team and their big hearts!”
“For the fourth year in a row, H.M. Brown Automotive has participated in a coat drive donation across our community to help keep those in need warm this winter. Each year this drive has gotten bigger and bigger, with more volunteers, more drop off sites, and more coats donated. It has truly turned into a community effort and H.M. Brown could not be more proud of our broker's commitment to help wherever they can.”

“Our community is like family, which is why giving back is so Important to us at H.M. Brown Automotive. Each year we work with The Arapahoe County Human Services and their 'Partnering For The Holidays' toy drive to help ensure local kids have a gift to open during the holiday season. Our brokers’ hearts seem to always grow an extra three sizes this time of year, and they certainly pulled together to try and reach as many kids as they can. It makes us so proud to see how much they care about the families in our community and we all look forward to this toy drive each year.”
“For the past few years H.M. Brown has partnered with Arapahoe County Human Services to help provide full Thanksgiving meals to families in need. This year H.M. Brown raised over $2,600 which helped ACHS be able to buy enough food to feed 80 families, up to 400 people, a holiday meal!”
When it comes to helping out the youth, H.M. Brown is there! Our broker, Grant Tomazin organized a donation effort to help out Gold Rush Elementary in Parker for their annual “The Digger Dash”. Money raised for this dash goes to purchasing books for their library and other supplies the school may otherwise fallen short on funds for. We are proud to see our Brokers jumping at the opportunity to help places close to their hearts!
Taking a moment to recognize Broker Sales Manager, Brandon Jensen, and Brokers Erick Rogers, Doug Steebner, and Steve Nyls! They participated in the annual Santa Claus Shop Golf Tournament, and H.M. Brown even sponsored a hole-in-one chance to win a brand new Chevy Camaro! Denver Santa Claus Shop is an organization close to our hearts and provides toys to less fortunate families over the holiday season. This year the tournament raised $45,000! We are so proud of you guys!

“We are giving a big shout-out to our Auto Broker, Steve Nyls, for starting a donation effort here at H.M. Brown to help a charity close to his heart. Mean Street Ministries originally started in the basement of its Chaplin’s home. It has since turned into a massive operation providing a food bank, cafeteria, winter clothing, and counseling to the community thanks to the help of their volunteers. Steve and our H.M. Brown team gathered enough to present them with a donation of $2,100! This is the kind of generosity that makes us so proud to call ourselves a family!”

Our community means everything to us. So when we see our brokers helping charitable causes, we can't help but share how proud we are of them. Broker Jeff Lebedoff organized a donation effort with his colleagues and helped raise $3,500 for Hungerfree303 - a charity that helps feed hungry children in need! Way to go Jeff!
“April is Autism Awareness month and for the second year in a row broker, Kevin Beikmann, helped organize donations for Firefly Autism - a place that is very close to our hearts. Firefly transforms the lives of children and families living with autism and helps them develop the skills necessary to give them hope of a brighter future. This year we were able to donate $9,325 and we couldn’t be prouder of our team!”
“Our community means everything to us. So when we see our brokers get recognized for their work spearheading charitable causes, we can't help but share how proud we are of them. Troy Bosco at H.M. Brown Automotive gathered fellow brokers to donate coats to the 2021 Knights of Columbus Coat Drive, and was just sent this certificate of appreciation! Not only did their generosity help keep our community warm this winter, but they gave us yet another reason why we are so lucky to have such amazing people on our team!”
“'Tis the season for giving - and our brokers sure know how to go the extra mile! We signed up for Arapahoe County's "Partnering for the Holidays" again this year, bringing in donations to help ensure every child in our community has a gift to unwrap this holiday season. Not only did our brokers go shopping for toys, they contributed enough money to ensure our donation could reach an expansive amount of kids! They sure know how to make us proud to have such an incredible team that we get to call family!”
“Our hats go off to Alex Yakubovich for his participation with his non-profit ‘Be The Good Ones’. who recently ran a massively successful coat drive! He and his team worked with local businesses to create multiple drop-off locations and were able to collect almost 700 jackets! These jackets will be donated to organizations around the community helping those in need be prepared for these cold months ahead. Awesome job, Alex, this is the stuff that makes us so proud to have you as a part of our H.M. Brown family!”
“Helping our community is something that H.M. Brown strives to achieve year round - and our brokers sure know how to make us proud and keep that tradition going. We recently put together a donation drive to help Arapahoe County Department of Human Services be able to ensure local families have a full table at Thanksgiving this year. We collected enough money to feed over 30 families, and we can't express how much that makes us smile knowing that together we can make a difference in people's lives. Way to go, H.M. Brown brokers, let's continue to keep that giving spirit alive!”
“Our brokers keep the giving spirit alive all year long. Denver Santa Claus Shop is a non-profit organization that is on a mission to provide a toy for every girl and boy over the holiday season. They serve children ages newborn through 11 years old and expect to help 13,000 children this year! They hosted a charity golf tournament yesterday that Brandon, Kent, Jeff, and Geoff couldn't wait to be a part of. Although no one made the hole-in-one for our Chevy Trailblazer giveaway, it still looks like it was quite a fun time while helping out the kids in our community!”
“Our broker, Brittany, came across this wonderful group of kids raising money for Bags of Fun, an organization that is making a difference in the lives of kids with tough illnesses. Our team came together and collected money to help these kids reach their goal. They ended up being able to raise enough to give these bags of fun to 5 kids!! It’s wonderful to see how big of hearts our brokers have, as well as seeing the next generation working hard to make this world a better place!”
“Have we mentioned how much we love animals?! Raise your paws for Jesse Blum who organized a donation effort amongst our brokers to help out Dumb Friends League and their furry friends! While the 2021 Furry Scurry was held virtually this year, that didn’t stop Jesse from getting involved and contributing to such a great cause! Seeing our brokers take part in the community and organizations they're passionate about makes us so proud to have them on our team.”
“Kevin Beikmann is at it again! It’s Autism Awareness Month, and he organized another donation effort amongst all of our brokers that went to a place close to our hearts - Firefly Autism. Firefly Autism transforms the lives of children and families living with autism, and helps them develop the skills necessary to give them the hope of a brighter future. Have we ever mentioned how proud we are of our amazing team?! Way to go, Kevin!”
“When tragedy struck the Boulder community last month, our brokers immediately felt the urge to step in and help their fellow Coloradans. They started a massive donation effort, and was able to collect $5,000 to be sent to help the families directly impacted by the King Soopers shooting. Some of the contributors are pictured here to show Boulder that they have our support. We are Boulder strong. We are Colorado strong.”

”Vic Dionisio has family that works at a school in Alamosa who's publication team, in charge of the school's newspaper and yearbook, was in need of help during this pandemic. Vic recently spearheaded a donation effort amongst our brokers to assist Mean Moose Publications in purchasing laptops for their students. Way to go Vic, you make us proud!”
“We love seeing the good our brokers are doing in Colorado. One place that has been especially important to Bruce Peterson has been the Second Chance Animal Rescue Colorado. Bruce has been donating to the foundation for many years, and even became a forever home to their rescue pup Darth Vader 8 years ago! During these difficult times, he knew the need was even bigger to help out. He was gracious enough to spearhead broker's donations and sent Second Chance a check to be able to continue giving their animals the care they need. Awesome job, Bruce and team!”
“Our brokers continue to blow us away with their generosity and giving spirit! Not only will every one of these toys be handed out to local families in need this holiday, the brokers also donated $500 in gift cards and $2,000 for the Arapahoe County Foundation to fill even more families wish lists! These brokers are simply the best!”
“KEVIN! (Cue your inner Mrs. McCallister voice)
We couldn't be more proud of Kevin Beikmann for spearheading a massive $4,000 donation collection amongst all of our brokers - this donation will go towards helping support homeless veterans in our community. What a great way to say 'Thank you for your service' to those who deserve so much!”
“We're sending out a recommendation to put our brokers, Kent Nelson & Geoff Harper, on the Nice List this year! They spent their time yesterday volunteering at Denver Santa Claus Shop handing out toys to families in need this holiday season!”
“'Tis the season for giving, and we are giving Grant Tomazin a big high five for his generosity to the Wounded Warrior Project & the Toys for Tots organizations! “Our brokers sure do know how to make us proud! Hats off to Megi Scowcroft and family who were a part of this year's United Way Turkey Trot! Way to help make a difference in the community, Megi!!”
“WE LOVE OUR CO-WORKERS! During the month of November, H.M. Brown held a food drive to help fill the shelves of the Hope Starts Here Food Bank. Our brokers absolutely blew us away with their generosity! Not only did we load an entire SUV full with boxes of food, we collected enough to also write them a $1,300 check - all of which will directly benefit the families in our local community that HSHFB so graciously helps. THANK YOU to all who helped our cause!“
We got to do something really special today! Linda is in the midst of fighting cancer. The day after a 2-month stay in the hospital her 1990 Honda Accord was stolen. She relies on this transportation to get to and from treatment. With the help of our amazing brokers who pitched in their money, along with Troy from Hometown Tire Pros who donated new tires and serviced the vehicle so it was in perfect order, we were able to present Linda with her new Toyota Camry! Congrats Linda, and keep up the good fight!
